Can I meditate if I suffer from depression or anxiety?

Of course, meditation is possible, moreover helpful and recommendable. The same applies to relaxation exercises of all kinds. But it depends on the objective. Many people use meditation/relaxation methods to get unpleasant feelings and thoughts under their control. This is because they are seen as pointless and their actual purpose is not recognised. To...

How can relaxation exercises help in coping with anxiety disorders or depression?

An interesting written question to me, which I publish here. Relaxation exercises do not help in coping with mental disorders because ... Relaxation exercises, as they are generally understood and practised, usually look like this: The person tries to relax with some guided relaxation technique or a fantasy journey / meditation. He succeeds...

Why can't I get my narcissistic "ex-marriage" out of my head after more than 8 years since my exchange as well as the alienation of the child? Part 1

This question, like all the others, was also put to me in writing. It too concerns the overarching theme of "soul processing". The principle of soul processing The soul processes ("digests") slights, losses, injuries, shocks, traumas, i.e. everything that more or less puts us out of our inner balance by letting us "chew on it"....

Why can't I get my narcissistic "ex-marriage", after over 8 years since my exchange as well as the alienation of the child out of my mind? Part 2

Do we also have to process beautiful experiences? Not only negative things are processed through contact with the subject. If positive experiences put us in an inner disorder, they are also processed according to the same principles: Winning millions keeps us awake for a while, we have to think about it all the time and feel an increased need to communicate. Or...

Why is schizophrenia so difficult to treat? Part 2

Continuation of Part 1: "Why is schizophrenia so difficult to treat?" Conventional / industrial agriculture largely disregards the needs of nature and the deeper laws of nature. It relentlessly pursues its own goals (usually profit maximisation). If nature gets out of balance and becomes ill (through parasites, pathogens,...), it can be treated.

"How can I manage to overcome my laziness and lethargy myself so that I don't get depression?"

A state of mind to which we have given the name "depression" is accompanied by some symptoms. One of the symptoms is drive disorder. The manifestation of drive disorder ranges from rather mild difficulties in getting up to do activities to complete listlessness, where the person does not get out of bed. It is not as if...

"What is the meaning of silence and its effect on human beings?" Part 1

A written question that was addressed to me. In order not to go beyond the scope, I will only briefly mention the most significant points. I will not go into spiritual aspects of silence. How can silence be established? By doing nothing. "Nothing" in this context also means listening to soothing music, relaxation procedures, guided meditations,...

Continued: "What is the meaning of silence and its effect on human beings?"

Once the natural inner order has been established, man begins to draw further benefit from his silent phases of pause. In silence he comes into closest contact with himself. Through this he gets to know himself. Example: Trust in another person can only grow if we know the other...

Is it possible to "cure" post-traumatic stress disorder on your own?

Definitely yes! The soul has a general healing automatism in the repertoire which heals also the most severe injuries! The soul does it by itself, the concerned person has only to allow the healing activities of the soul. That has to be his only contribution. And exactly at this point the affected persons and also the therapists...

Continued: Is it possible to "cure" post-traumatic stress disorder on your own?

Again and again I meet grieving people who have not overcome and processed the loss of a loved one even after many years. When asked, they always state that they consistently avoid contact with the painful feelings or only allow them to a certain extent. They go to the grave only to water flowers....

Question: "What mental pain would you want to hand over if it were possible?"

This is an interesting question! It has been put to me in writing and I answer it here to reach more people with it. First of all: I take the question in the sense: "Which mental pain / suffering would you like to give away / abolish / prevent?" Answer to that: none! (A restriction of this...

Brooding - a useful invention of nature - part 1

A search on the Internet leads the suffering person to the same and same recommendations on how to get the activities of his mind under his control. The explanations of this mysterious phenomenon all sound logical, the recommendations derived from them partly too. It's just a pity that they don't work. What is even worse, the meaning and purpose of brooding is completely ignored out of ignorance.

Was hilft gegen Grübeln?

Brooding - a useful invention of nature - part 2

In Part 1, I explained that rumination is a natural process within the processing of mental content. Therefore, everything that has brought us out of balance must be chewed over internally. The soul is a ruminant! It forces thoughts on us, makes us chew around until the subject is short and small and until it has lost its sharpness. It is clear that especially the painful experiences are not "tasty" for us. Who likes to think back to a big disappointment, an injury or a bitter loss? Who likes to lie awake at night because their head won't let them rest.

Brooding - Part 2 (continued)

How can you recognise avoidance rumination? You can recognise whether brooding is avoidance brooding by the following characteristics: The first characteristic is the intensity with which the ruminator deals with his topics. The other important point concerns the range of topics around which the thoughts revolve. In one-on-one conversations, it is usually very...
